## Responsibilities

- Creation of new NSX-T construct as and when required.
- Firewall rules configuration.
- Onboarding VMs under NSX-T platform (VLAN to Geneve).
- Troubleshoot VMware NSX-T related issues alongside Customer administrators.
- Configuration changes with NSX-T to support daily operations.
- Raise VMware support Tickets, if required.
- Conduct guidance sessions about VMware NSX-T.
- Assist with the lifecycle management (minor upgrades only) of NSX-T.
- Coaching and knowledge transfer.
- Create operational documentation for vSphere and vSAN infrastructure.
- Evaluate and analyze the current implementation and make recommendations for service level and technical improvements.
- Supports Customer in VMware products expansions, patching, and upgrades (vSphere and vSAN).
- Analyze consumed infrastructure capacity and recommend optimization as and when possible, in terms of CPU, memory, and disk space utilization.
- Analyze workload needs in terms of storage policy-based management (SPBM) and apply the same on vSAN.

## Requirements

- DevOps work experience in Production environments - 5+ years.
- Hands-on Linux administration level experience - 5+ years.
- Hands-on VMWare administration level experience - 5+ years.
- Networking, services, and Load Balancers - 3+ years.

## Desired

- 3+ years in Knowledge and experience with scripting languages like Python and Shell (Bash).
- 3+ years in Web/Application servers: Nginx, Apache Tomcat, and JVM environments.
